my hockey stick and I guess it'll be sometime before I regain
all my knowledge of the game. Being an avid soccer fan, I love
playing street soccer and am a Manchester United FC
supporter. I don't care what prejudice other soccer fans have against
the club, but I'll be supporting them fair and square. Currently playing
volleyball and pool and trying to pick up squash
and billiard at the moment. |

Crowds,
unless fun > crowd. Particularly hates
the kind of people who is uncooperative, bad-tempered,
inconsiderate and act like he damn big shot. |
The first time I heard
of Sammi was when her first Mandarin album "Worth
It" was realeased in 1996. The album
and title song were at the top of charts everywhere
for quite some time immediately after, and the song, "Worth
It" enjoyed high airplay over the radio
too. I really liked the song very much and felt that Sammi's
voice is very unique, packed with emotion and power,
unlike the typical female's sweet, demure kind
of voice. The album was also the very first CD that
I bought. Not long after, her second Mandarin album "Waiting
For You" was out in the stores and again, Sammi
did not disappoint.
Her numerous image
changes was something which I was not used to initially. However
through time, I understand that it is part
of her character, her job and her interest,
in keeping up with trends and capturing the attention
of her fans. The looks I like of hers most are those simple,
girl-next-door kind of image, as well as those really
glam, leather jacket, power-suits types.
I missed her concert
which was held in Singapore last year because I had to go
overseas for my National Service training. But I am
really glad that there's her concert CD, news
articles and screenshots readily available over the
internet. I have been toying with the idea of creating a
Sammi Cheng website, but never knew how to start.
After so long, it is finally realized, and I hope fellow
Sammi fans would like Love Is... Sammi
as well.
I welcome all suggestions,
critisms and comments about Love
Is... Sammi. Do Email
Me, and I'll see to all your requests.
