At last, Sammi's long
awaited Mandarin album is finally released. Admist the secrecy
behind its production, "Complete" certainly
deserved the wait. The album showcases Sammi
with a distinct new look, singing in a distinct
new style, different from much of her previous songs,
yet quite similiar to "To Love".
Perhaps a more mature style? "Complete"
starts off with a dance track called "Firing Glamour"
following up with a sensual ballad "Not Necessary".
The title track "Complete" is very well
written, and you could feel the sense of loss and loneliness
described in the song when Sammi sings it. Similiarly for
"Future", another ballad. A wonderful
album by Sammi, no wonder she is the reigning Queen Of
Pop, and the darling of Warner Records.

Sammi's latest Cantonese
release starts off sounding oriental, but lauches into a
power-packed dance track that is the very trademark
of her songs. Eleven tracks are contained in "Love
Is...", including the ballad "How to Shed Tears",
a chart topping song. Also not to miss is the title track, where
we have Sammi singing to rap. You also don't want
to miss "Tight" and "The Song Wrote By Chopin"
written by Candy Lo and Eason Chan. A MTV
of "How To Shed Tears" is included in the form of
a VCD that comes with the album.
